Untitled

I, you,
We are here where we ought to be
And things will likely change again
When we part I’ll smile back and say,
There’s more than love to give in this life
I, you,
We are dodging giant drops of rain
Burning holes in the brand new umbrella
When you leave I’ll frown and pout and say,
I have more than love to give in my life
I am here where I ought to be
Staring hard at blackness in the aisle
Someday we will have a million miles
Of people holding hands in their minds
Music is not just a thing I do
Music is the trip I take
To travel places in my mind and see
I have more than love to give in my life
